Bengaluru: Absconding grandson of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) former president, business tycoon, late Audikesavulu Naidu, Vishnu reportedly surrendered before City Crime Branch (CCB) police on Tuesday night in Bengaluru. He was escaped from the hand of the police when he was being treated at a private hospital here in the state capital after he was assaulted by the local residents inconnection with drink and drive case which caused an accident injuring six people including three children.
The accused was escaped from the hospital during morning hours of September 29. Earlier, he was admitted to the hospital after his Mercedes-Benz SUV rammed into Maruthi Omni near South End circle in Bengaluru city on September 28 night followed by a clash with the locals.
The accused was reportedly absconding in Andhra Pradesh, Goa and was planning to stay at Madikeri in Karnataka till he gets anticipatory bail from the court inconnection with the case.
The accused surrendered after get confused and tensed as CCB police intensified their search to nab immediately. He surrendered before CCB police at Chamarajpet on Tuesday night at around 08.30 PM. Vishnu is being questioned by the police and the doctors are yet to examine his health as he tensed following series of unpleasant incidents, sources said.
