Mangalore : A local channel Namma Nadu cameraman Shashidhar Poyyathabail was thrashed at a kambala took place at Talapady on March 31 Saturday.

Reportedly, Shashidhar was trying to take a picture of a pair of buffaloes, a flash terrified the buffaloes, which turned and ran in the opposite direction.

Due to this Manoj Jeppinamogaru, the owner of the buffalo pair, was furious and thrashed him for the defeat of his buffaloes.

Accordin to the sources, Shashidhar’s video camera had no flash and that the flash came from some other camera.

Shashidhar is taking treatment at Nethaji Hospital. The video camera worth Rs. 1.5 lakh has also been destroyed in the incident.

The Ullal police have registered a case and arrested Manoj at 1:30 a.m.
