Mangalore: There is a lot of noise (Galate) going on in co-operative business field after M.N. Rajendra Kumar (jain) made his entry in SCDCC Bank and Apex Ban with his colourful multi-face personality, as an activist in farming, co-operative housing, industries, banking, administration, building and other fields.
H has produced serial TV screen shows and has headed business ventures. Now he is producing a Kannada feature film, ‘Galate (noise), started to shoot on Dec 7.
Well-Known film director M.D. Sridhar handles the megaphone in the new venture of MNR in a different kind of treatment. The screenplay is by B.A. Madhu on the theme of war for Love.
Former villain-turned-hero Devaraj’s son Prajwal is the cocoa hero.
MNR is new to Kannada screen world, but he is committed in his labours. That may be the secret of his success, no dilly-dallying or corrupt business for him. He may raise noises occasionally, but he was an excellent track record of success, of placing his fingers in many pies.
He chairs SCDCC bank affairs for 16 years at a stretch. It is poised for national recognition now.
Rajendra has made ‘Jogula’ a Tele serial, in 2010, directed by Vinu Balanja and relayed in Zee TV Kannada channel.
The Lullaby (Jogula) has seen over 500 episodes, covering a woman’s life as a “rented” mother-to-be, in her trying circumstances.
When contacted, the eminent co-operative baker replied that it was not accidental, and he had plans to produce a film, after the long serial running over an year in ZEE TV, he got the right kind of story and got down to make noises.
He would even make 2 films, if one does not produce enough sounds. There is a triumvirate at work in ‘Galate! (MNR-MDA-Prajwal).
There is great hope among MNR’s circle of friends and admirers, on the quality of his new venture in a co-operative set-up, to satisfy every cine-goer, without boring dramatic actions. This is to wish him success.
