Mangalore: The APMC polling for Mangalore Taluk was held on Sunday, April 24 and results have started pouring out from 7am on Tuesday. Congress has secured 7 out of 14 seats, as per announced results to take over APMC administration once again.
Congress made its stunning victory in Mulky, Vamanjoor, Yedapadav, Beluvai, Surathkal and 2 other places.
JD-S made a remarkable entry into the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) today in 3 seats Moodabidri, Mangalore (Gangadhar Ullal), Shirthady (Backward-A reserved).
BJP has 4 in Kotekar, Merchants’ constituency, Agri. Co-op. Mktg. Societies Constituency and Agri. Coop. Processing Societies seats.
One seat is captured by Ms. Jacinta D’Souza of KR Raitha Sangha in Puthige. (Women- reserved).
Congress will preside over APMC this year.
