Mangaluru : Voting began for 17th loksabha elections in Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday in the second phase of General Elections.

Total 32.10% voter turnout in Dakshina Kannada at 11 am. Talapady booth number 169, Tiruvail Ward Vamanjoor and St Joseph’s Higher Primary School booths EVM got troublec in the morning, after the complaints EVM were handled within some minutes.

Some places in the city not provide proper facilities for voters. No proper light, rinking water or shade provided at booth.

BJP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel, Congress candidate Mithin Rai caste their votes at at Mangaluru.

Congress candidate Mithun Rai exercised his franchise at the Balmatta Government Women’s college and Nalin Kumar Kateel at St.Aloysous English medium School near Ladyhill Church hall Mangaluru.
