Mangalore: Mayor Gulzar Banu accompanied by Corporators Naveen D’Souza and Ranganath Kini and Assistant Engineer Shafiq Ahmed and Work Inspector Timmayya visited the Tagore Park on August 7, Tuesday and inspected the conditions at the park.

The mayor on the occasion said the task of maintaining the park will be entrusted to the KMC and that the MCC would write a letter to the KMC.

Corporator Naveen D’Souza also assured that steps would be taken to develop the park at the earliest. Ranganath Kini said the MCC had an open mind on proposals from firms to maintain parks.
