Mangalore : A team of officials from the Mangalore City Corporation raided  a pan masala stall near the  Besant Women’s College in Mangalore following a tip off that tobacco products were being sold in violation of the rule that prohibits sale of tobacco products in a radius of hundred meters from schools and colleges.

Though initially, the stall owner tried to convince the raiding team that no tobacco products were beign sold, on inspection, the team found cigarette, gutka and other products nearby.  The MCC team also warned the stall owner against selling such products in future.

The MCC raiding team included Bharath,Sushanth and others.
