Mangalore : Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that a meeting will be convened with higher officials and all elected representatives to discuss about the Ettinahole project,

 Participating in a party workers meet at Rosario Auditorium on September 29, Sunday, the CM said there is a misconception in public minds regarding the project. He said Ettinahole project is not Netravathi diversion.

The CM also referred to moral policing and said there was no question of tolerating moral policing. It will be dealt strictly, he said.

He informed that the state government will provide compensation to distressed areca growers heeding to the request made by senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojari.

 He also urged party workers to work for the victory of the party in the next LS election  in Mangalore constituency.

Ramanatha Rai, DK District in-charge Minister and several Congress leaders and workers were present.
