Mangalore: A new Tulu film with a curious title `Oriyan Thoonda Oriyag Aapuji’ had its Muhurt at the Mangala Devi temple in the port city on Wednesday at 10.15 am, with D.K Minister in charge B. Ramanath Rai posing for the first shot.

Rai told the audience that tulu films should be produced more and more with the quality to attract more Cine goers in every town of Tulunadu he recalled his younger days to say that he had acted in several dramas on stage with a friend as the pair. He expected tulu people to see tulu films whenever they are produced in tulunadu.

The current film is produced by Gangadhar Shetty and Ashok Kumar.

Mangaladevi temple administrator Ramanath Hegde, Bantara Yaane Nadavara Mathr Sangha president Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi, Namma Tv director Shivasharan Shetty, Corporator Premanand Shetty, Film Director Ha Su Rajashekar, Ln. Kishore D Shetty, Suresh Mangaluru, Hero Arjun Kapikad, Prajwal Pooviah, Nagesh Achar, producers Gangadhra Shetty and Ashok Kumar were present on the dais for the Muhurt.
