Mangalore : Coastal region celebrated Nagara Panchami with a religious fervor in the Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod districts on August 11, Sunday.
Devotees swarm in early morning Kudupu Sri Ananthapadmanabha Temple, as well as Mangaladevi Temple, Sharavu Shree Mahaganapathy Temple, Naga Kannika Temple Konchadi, Kalikamba Temple Carsteet.
Devotees offered Tender coconut water, Milk, sugar, honey, Ghee, Turmeric and Panchamritha to the Naga Image. Around the city most of the temples have seen long queues.
Nagabanas worshipping serpent Gods since morning to pay their obeisance.
Historic Kukke Sri Subramnya temple, thousands of devotees gathered to worship serpent God. In Anantha Padmanabha Temple Manjeshwara devotees offered Naga pooja and exvoto.
