Mangalore: The fifth national consumer fair was inaugurated at Karavali Utsav ground in Mangalore on September 9, Sunday by MLA Krishna Palemar along with  Ajathashatru and Namratha Hegde, actors of Tulu movie ‘Sompa.’

Speaking on the occasion, Palemar said the  consumer fair provides a good opportunity for Mangaloreans to spend quality time with their family.

The exhibition has around 100 stalls  featuring automobiles, home appliances, kitchen appliances, solar products, handlooms, handicrafts, dress materials, fashion, footwear, food products  etc etc.

The amusement section has an artificial boating lake, dragon train, Italian tora-tora, jumping frog, dashing car, titanic etc,Latest amusement rides from Europe like dragon slide, country car, and battery car  are also part of the  exhibition which will be held for 45 days.
