Udupi: The opening shot of a new Kannada film, “Neenena Bhagwantha?” was taken at Sri Krishna Temple, with the Paryaya Swami Laxmivara Tirtha directing the scene, starring Sai kumar in the prime role.
The hero delivered a speech against corruption in that scene. The muhurat (opener) was also attended by city Police Commissioner of Mangalore Seemanth K.Singh, who started the camera.
D.K. Laxman clapped for the scene. It is a commercial film based on the life of a builder in the costal region, and will be shot mostly in Udupi and Mangalore.
The cast has Sakshi (Shivanand) in the female (heroine) role. Sharath directs the new film.
Preetham Sagar is its producer. A matter of importance here is that several award-winning, keen Cinematographer Sundernath Suwarna of the of the region, is cranking the camera with pleasing visual shots. The shooting will take 3 months and release will wait for another 3 months, it is reported.
