Mangaluru : Dakshina Kannada recorded its one more death due to novel coronavirus on Wednesday, May 13,
A 58-year-old resident of Boloor passed away at 12.45 pm without responding to treatment at Wenlock hospital.
The victim, a woman, identified by number P-536 was admitted to Wenlock hospital to be serious from the last few days and was shifted to ICU and was kept in a ventilator.
She was tested positive for coronavirus on April 30. The woman had been treated at First Neuro Hospital in the city a few days ago for brain-related ailment.
During the period she was in that hospital, she had come in contact with patient No 501 who works as a sweeper.
The total number of COVID-19 cases found in Dakshina Kannada district are 33 now. Four among them have died and 14 have been discharged and 16 active coronavirus cases.
