Mangalore : In connection with the provocative speech delivered by Ali Hassan, president of Merchants Association Mangalore, Pandeshwar police have registered case against him.
It is learnt that Hassan had delivered the inflammatory speech at the protest meet organized by Popular Front of India in front of the office of DC office on April 20.
The police have registered the case on the basis of a complaint filed by Rajesh Pavitran, district president of Akhil Bharat Hindu Yuvaka Sabha.
The complaint stated that, Hassan had warned not to stop cattle transportation and if the police and Bajrang Dal members have courage, they must stop them from doing so. He also alerted the activists not to die in the hands of cattle transporters.
