Kundapur : Two autorickshaw drivers of Vandse are facing allegations of sexually abusing two young Dalit girls. The accused have been identified as Vinod and pradeep, residents of Janatha Colony.

It is said the two had physical relationship with two Dalit girls aged 16 and 18 since the past two years. The girls who worked in a cashew factory. The duo also had promised  to marry the girls. As per the complaint lodged by the mother of one of the victims  the duo had even taken the girls to a nearby forest on July 2 and allegedly raped them.

It is learnt she had been trying to lodge a complaint against the two men since three months but could not as the police wanted her to settle the case through talks. However, help came through a social worker and a case was finally registered on July 27, Saturday night. The police are presently searching for the duo.
