Udupi: The management of Manasa and the residents of Pamboor felicitated Pramila Pinto, student of Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Center in Pamboor who has bagged gold and bronze medals for India in the roller skating events held in Athens, Greece in the Special Olympics.
Fr. Stany Tauro, the parish priest of Our Lady of Good Health Church in Shirva, presided over the event.
Delivering the presidential address, he said that Ms. Pinto has brought plenty of medals to India and she is an live example for other special kids to reach their goal.
Devdas Hebbar, the president of the Taluk Panchayat, spoke in appreciation of Pramila Pinto.
Pramila was taken in a grand procession through BC Road to Manasa where she was publicly honored.
