Mangalore : A protest was staged near Sahyadri College, Adyar by the  Hindu Suraksha Samithi Adyar urging for an indepth probe into the Akshatha death  case which is shrouded in mystery. The protestors also blocked the highway,.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel who spoke on the occasion was critical of the governemtn  in thoroughly probing the case and alleged that atrocities on women has increased in the recent times. He  said the Samithi will stage a huge protest in the days to come if the case was not solved.

Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader Sathyajit Suratkal  too spoke. Dayanand Adyar, Subhash Padil and others took part.
