Mangalore : PVR Cinemas has launched a six-screen multiplex at Forum Fiza Mall in Padeshwar Mangalore on Thursday June 12 .

Addressing presspersons on the sidelines of the launch of the multiplex here on Thursday, Rajinder Singh, Regional Manager (Operations), South, said PVR’s screen count now stands at 427 in 98 cinemas spread over 42 cities. With the Mangalore launch, PVR’s screen count in the southern market reaches 83 in 13 properties in the cities of Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Vijayawada and Mangalore, he added.

He said that, We will take feedbacks from the clients for better service and improvements. PVR Cinemas now has theaters in Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Vijayawada . Mangalore is the latest. PVR Cinemas’ next venture in Karnataka – at Mysore is almost done, Mysore theater will have four screens with capacity of 1,100 seats. Plans are afoot to start multiplex at Udupi and talks are on with promoters to firm up the property, he said.
