Mangalore : State Minister for Forest and Ecology and DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai directed officials to take measures to solve water scarcity in the village.

Speaking at the meeting held at DC office auditorium on Aril 26, Saturday, he said that the officials of the department, must look into the proposal of multi-village drinking water project and address the water problems in villages, as soon as possible and submit the report to the tahsildars in that area.

ZP Chief Executive Officer Tulasi Maddineni said that the authority have taken measures to supply water through tankers in areas such as Kotekar, Mennebettu, Kinnigoli, Konaje, Manjanady of Mangalore taluk and Sarapady and Kavalapadur villages in Bantwal taluk.

Many district and taluk level officials were present.
