Puttur: The Principal of Sri Ramakunjeshwara Degree College which is in the centre stage of a controversy over the head scarf row, has lodged a complaint against 14 students in connection with the recent protest staged by students in front of the college wherein hundreds of students had gathered and even tried to lay siege to the college building.

The complaint has been lodged against seven students of Ramakunjeshwara College and seven students of other colleges. The complaint has also accused the students of using derogatory words against the college authorities.
