Mangalore :  A  tragic road mishap reported from near Kudupu on August 12, Monday claimed the life of a youth while five others were injured.

 The deceased youth is identified as Afroze (23) from Bajal. Of the five injured, the condition of two including lorry driver Abdul Latif from Kallakatte-Bajal and Nurullah from Ullal  is said to be critical.

The lorry loaded with chicken was on way to Mangalore from Agumbe when the mishap took place. Traffic came  to an abrupt halt on the route for some time following the mishap. Kankanady police have registered a case.
