Mangaluru: South Canara District Central Co-Operative Bank President Dr Rajendra Kumar has announced 10.50 percent dividend to the associate bodies as the bank got all time record profit of Rs 20.67 crore.
Addressing the gathering, in yearly general body meeting, he said that SCDCC Bank is one of the pioneer banks in co-op sector. In past 102 years it has achieved a lot. Though there is a tough competition in co-op sector, SCDCC has proved its efficiency.
“SCDCC Bank has introduced a new type of banking system for its customers. Internet banking, core banking and other advanced technology banking facilities are available at SCDCC. We are planning to implement the idea of inter banking mobile payment system and inter banking service,” he said.
He further said that some of the credit co-op banks are facing problems in ration system. A delegation will meet food and civil supplies minister with regard to this matter.
“SCDCC Bank has reached and crossed its aim in all the business. As a feather to the crown it has highest amount of deposit when compared to other co-op banks,” he added.
Bank Vice-President Kishan Jegde Kolkebail, Directors Vinay Kumar Soorinje, B Niranjan, Bhaskar S K, T G Rajaram Bhat and others were present.
