Mangalore : Social Democratic Party of India District President Abubakkar Kulai, said that the Congress government which has failed to fulfill the people’s demand has been trying to spread violence in DK.
Speaking at the press meet held at held at Press Club on June 26, Wednesday; he said that after congress government came into power, the criminal activities by the congress party members are being increased in the coastal districts with the support of the congress leaders.
He also said that in recent days, the incident of Congress activists attacking SDPI workers have been reported but even the police officials are not ready take the complaint. Hence the members of SDPI will stage protest in front of DC Office on June 28 at 10 am condemning the attack on SDPI activists.
Abubakkar Kulai also said that SDPI district committee will hold a seminar in order to create awareness against inhuman laws at NGO Hall, on June 28 at 4 p.m.
P K Ponnappa, high-court lawyer, K Purushotham Poojary, senior advocate, Mangalore, Abubakkar, advocate, Madikeri will participate as the resource persons.
SDPI state secretary Akram Hassan, SDPI President of Mangalore Legislative Constituency unit Nasir Sajipa and district secretary Ashraf Manchi, were present.
