Mangaluru: Bollywood fame Shilpa Shetty along with her husband Raj Kundra, mother Sunanda Shetty, father Surendra Shetty and son Viaan Raj Kundra visited Shri Durgaparameshewari Temple Kateel on Thursday and also visited Shree Kshetra Dharmadhikari on Friday, August 28.

After she had paid a visit to Kateel Temple she visited her native Mudaladi near Niddodi and did the prayer custom in front of Daivas of her family. She had the most famous dish of south canara Neerdosa her son and husband. Later she and her son Viaan enjoyed with the calf (Durgi ) in her ancestors’ house.

Shilpa Shetty and family met Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade and sought his blessings. Dr Heggade gifted them with Lord Ganesh Idol. After having a conversation with Dr Heggade, the Shetty family proceeded to Kukke Sri Subramanya temple.

Shilpa praised the growth of Tulu film industry and a good story can really make it big. I love Tulu film songs, especially I love the songs in Koti-Chennaya movie said to the media persons.

She also ready to act in a Tulu movie if get free times in Bollywood. My schedule for Bollywood itself is so tight that I could not take up some good Kannada movie offers,” she said.

Shilpa and family will fly back to Mumbai on Sunday.
