Bangalore: The Opposition Congress leader Siddaramaiah told media today that he come out of Ahinda Party voluntarily, and earlier JD-S dropped him for the sin of forming Ahinda. I never wanted to be CM of the state, he added meaningfully.
He was addressing a seminar in Kurubara Sangha old students’ golden jubilee celebrations today.
He accused past leaders of not providing a reservation to Kurubas (shepherds) in state. The leaders were themselves in servile position, he added. He wanted the present Kuruba leaders not to sit tight over the reservation question without facilities.
The leaders in power do not want to provide reservations to OBCs and other depressed classes in politics, he criticised. They only want to protect their chairs, he ridiculed, referring to CM and Dr.V.S.Acharya in Udupi Mutt case.
