Bangalore : “ Congress leader Siddaramaiah has remained neglected ever since he quit JD(S). Let him decide on his own if he wants to enter the JD(S) fold again,” said JD(S) leader and former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy.
Reacting to Siddaramaiah’s resignation to the post of opposition leader in the assembly, Kumarasamy said Siddaramaiah has now realized his folly. He further said that Siddaramaiah had good respect when he was in the JD(S) , but his words never got weightage in the Congress. The row over selection of Congress candidate for MLC elections is a testimony to this, Kumaraswamy said.
He however refused to comment on the resignation of Abdul Azeem to the post of JD(S) Legislative Party Secretary and said the debate on this issue was unnecessary.
