Mangalore : The St Joseph Engineering College at Vamanjoor celebrated its tenth annual day on March 19, Tuesday.
Presiding over the function, Fr Aloysius Paul D’ Souza, Bishop of Mangalore, hailed the contributions of the college to the educational field and urged the students to pursue their goals in life with dedication. It is only hard work that will bring success, he said and urged the students not to deviate from their set path.
Deputy Commissioner N Prakash who was present as a chief guest, said DK has earned a name for itself in the national and international level as an educational hub.
R Basil, co-founder and chairman of Lily White Health Consortium Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, who was the chief guest, said information technology has brought revolutionary changes in life and has increased the opportunities before students. Make use of the opportunities to the best possible way, he added.
