Mumbai: Industrialist and Pune MP Suresh Kalmady of Udupi origin is under fire from Bal Thackeray of Shiv Sena in an encounter over Commonwealth Games. Without mining words, Balaji fixed Kalmady as the main accused for throwing away funds left and right in the name of CWG and allow corruption on a large scale in Indian sports. He blamed Kalmady as the man responsible for spoiling the atmosphere of sports (CWG) even before it could commence. The entire country is now hated by sportsman the world over and in Commonwealth countries for mismanagement, diversion of funds, excess payments to British agency and incomplete stadia in the CWG villages where 50 days  only are available to complete the huge works. He attacked the entire sports administration as being in soup now. Kalmady is not a dependable person and has been the boss for too many years. In 1990, kalmady left Congress and came over to Bombay to meet Thakre who advised him to stay back in the western port city, but the advise fell on deaf years, Bal Thakre rued. Thakre praised shooter and world champion Tejaswini Sawant while condemning Suresh Kalmady as incapable MP.
As result of the scandals affecting Delhi CM Sheela Dixit and Congress MP Suresh Kalmady, India may never get a chance to held Olympics here, at a time when South Africa, a black country liberated in recent years, has all the chances to arrange it after the World Cup Football tournament for 32 teams.

The Australian Olympic Chief John Coates has criticised Indian organizers of CWG when less than 50 days are available to complete a dozen stadia and other facilities for participants in Delhi. He said it is the costliest Budget at 2 million dollars but thrice that amount has been spent already, he noted. The Games works orders of worst quality are given unknown contractors unofficially, he added.
