A torturing narration -Teen Thay Bhai (There were three brothers)
Bangalore: It has a story of 3 brothers who had to live together a day each year for 3 years, to fulfill a clause in the will and claim the ancestral property. It is supposed to be a Hindi comedy, but does not fulfil the elementary demands, not even a Chuckle, and its pace is too slow to merit comic situations. The director fails to do justice to the story or simply to crack jokes. The screenplay is hollow. There is excessive melodrama in the flash back drama.
Between the two, the first half is tolerable, while the second becomes meaningless.
Om Puri is covered with unpleasant shots. His dialogues are quite loud. Deepak and Shreyas have long monologues in a “ham” fashion. Ragini has a small role.
Music by Sukhwinder Singh and Ranjit Barot does not rise above average.
The film itself inflicts a third degree torture to a ticket-holder. Better avoid it.
