Mangalore : A teenage couples attempted to suicide by jumping into the breakwater at Panambur late night on March 23, Sunday.

Puneeth Kumar (17) from Kulai is a student of first I PUC student of Gokarnanatha College went missing, a girl student of his class, survived and returned home.

It is learnt that, Puneeth Kumar had love with a girl of his class. he had not done well in one of the subjects in the final examination.

Upendra Salian, father of Puneeth, has lodged a missing complaint in Suratkal police station. Punith is lean and is 163 cm tall and has wheatish complexion.

The body of Punit, who had gone missing on March 23 is traced at Panambur Beach on Tuesday morning, March 25.
