Mangalore : The Student Federation of India members along with Students of various colleges in the city, boycotted classes to the rising sexual crimes against women in the state. They organised a protest in-front of the DC office for the same on July 24, Thursday.
Addressing to the students gathering SFI leader said, sexual assaults on women increasing without panic. The government not ready to take serious action against this. The government must provide high power to police department and must implement a strong bill.
The Chief Minister also makes irresponsible statements about crimes they alleged.
Later a memorandum was submitted to Deputy Commissioner.
