Kundapur : Food item laden truck catches fire at Bijur railway station on Tuesday October 10.

The goods train that was carrying trucks on it from Kolad of Mumbai to Suratkal of Mangaluru had begun its journey on October 9.

On Tuesday morning, as it reached Bijur railway station, fire erupted suddenly in one of the trucks on the train. The staff on the train stopped the train immediately and tried to put off the fire.

Byndoor fire service also rushed to the railway station and brought the fire under control.
