Mangalore : Ibrahim Kodijal, District Congress Interim president thanked the voters Dakshina Kannada constituency for registering highest voting percentage in the Lok Sabha elections held on April 17.

Addressing the reporters at the press meet held at Congress Election office on April 18, Friday, Kodijal said that the effort of Electing Commission and Dakshina Kannada DC and District Election officer AB Ibrahim in maintaining peace in the district throughout the polling procedure is appreciated.

He also said that the voter’s response in the district and feedback from them after the polling shows that Congress candidate B Janardhana Poojary from DK constituency will emerge victorious in this elections, which will be out on May 16.

Congress leaders Kallige Taranath Shetty and Mayor Mahabala Maarla were present at the press meet.
