Mangalore : N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University  said exams will never be a major problem if students, parents and  teachers realize that the real objective of education is to enrich knowledge. Exams should be considered a part of life, he said.

Hegde was speaking  after inaugurating a free workshop  on how to face exams organised for students by  www.exams 24X7.com at Loyola Hall of St Aloysius College on February 17, Sunday.

Students unnecessarily fear exams owing to parent pressure to score high marks and also the belief that future depended on exams alone. He said exams do not determine the intelligence of the students.

Dr KN Vijayaprakash, Chief Executive Officer of DK Zilla Panchayat said   many a student are forced to spend their lives  between four walls due to pressure of studies.

Elvis Luis SJ, Principal of St Aloysius PU College,  also spoke. Ando Paul, CEO of www.exams24X7 said the firm would soon start a  search engine helping students to find answers to their doubts.
