Mangalore: It is official now. B.S. Yeddyurappa has been retained as CM of Karnataka by BJP High Command. The DK unit members in BJP went about celebrating this afternoon, with sweets distribution and fire crackers bursting on roads in Mangalore.
Padmanabha Kottari (President), Srikar Prabhu (Corporator) and N. Yogish Bhat (MLA) were grinning from ear to ear in a mood of happiness over the continuation of B.S Yeddyurappa as CM. Their celebration suggested that BJP has voted for status quo and not for any change. In Delhi, Eashwarapp had consultations with Nitin Gadkari today before taking a final decision to allow BSY to continue as CM. A procession was taken out from PVS circle to Kodialbail circle today by BJP members.
