Padubidri: The Cine star of Kannada films turned a soothsayer in Tara at Kaup in a public meeting on Thursday to tell voters that the BJP candidate would win the by-poll hands down in an over confident tone.

The success was certain and bonus was in the form of high majority of votes, Tara ruled.

A road show was arranged in her honour at Kaup near Udupi and in a reception attended by local women leaders at Kaup BJP office, Tara exuded confidence in pleasant smiles.

Tara rode an open Jeep vehicle with sheela shetty Rashma Uday, Sulochana Bhat, Geetanjali Suvarna, apart from local MLA Lalaji Mendon to contact voters from door to door and seek votes. She waved at many admirers.

Kaup BJP leaders Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty district official Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, Minorities cell chief Usman Koily H, GP/ZP members and many others were in the happy company to canvass votes.
