Mangaluru: “By implementing Yettinahole project CM Siddaramaiah and former CM’s Veerappa Moily and Sadananda Gowda are trying to convert coastal region into ‘Sahara Desert’,” said former union minister B Janardhana Poojary.
Addressing the press reporters on Saturday at Mangaluru press Club, he slammed CM Siddaramaiah for irdering the officers to implement the Yettinahole project. “Do CM and former CM’s think that they are going to achieve something by implementing this project?” he questioned.
He further said that they think they have achieved Olympic medal or something like that; they should be honoured with Rajiv Gandhi Khel Rathna award. They are moving towards making coastal region into a infertile land. They have no love towards coastal districts.
“I urge CM to drop this project. I am saying this for his betterment only. Siddaramaiah is moving towards killing Netravati, by killing its rivulets. If you killed rivulets, it means you are killing the river,” he said.
“What do the CM thinks? Does he think that there is no one to question him? After meeting Sonia and Rahul at Delhi he says that they have approved the list of chairmen of various boards in state. He also saying that high command should approve the list. Who is above Sonia And Rahul Gandhi in this country for Congress?” he added.
He further slamming CM Siddaramaiah said that Sonia Gandhi had asked for a report on Yettinahole project and CM didn’t submit it yet. CM is a egoistic person and he is not bother about the orders.
