Udupi: “Instead of commenting on the union government on the drought relief funds, the state government should try to utilise the available funds wisely,” said state BJP President B S Yeddyurappa.
While speaking to the reporters on Tuesday, he said that the state government should try to release the relief fund and then it should look forward for the help of union government.
“Central’s grant will be released in further two days. Along with this state also should release its funds. Do not point towards union government for each and every problem,” he said.
Further commenting on Kambala he said that all the efforts will be made to put pressure on Central government to lift the ban on Kambala. Discussions will be held with Union Ministers Prakash Javadekar and Ravishankar Prasad regarding this issue.
Later, he refused to give any statement regarding the IT raid on Congress leader Lakshmi Hebbalkar and Minister Ramesh Jarakiholi.
