Mangalore : The much awaited MCC Bank election results are out. Francis Cutinho led group had won eight out of the 13 posts thus getting a majority. The elections were held on September 7, Saturday. The rest five posts went to the Melwyn D’Cunha led group.

 Apart from Francis Cutinho, the others winners are  Dr Veronica Judith Pinto (women category), Jerald Jude D’Silva, Melwyn Clifford D’Souza, Andrew D’ Souza Palladka, Alwyn Patrao, Dennis D’Souza, and Dolphy Patrao.

The Melwyn D’Cunha group winners were Dr Edward Nazareth, Edmund Frank, Adolphus Cutinha and Shalet Pinto (women category).

The election was held at Loyala hall, St Aloysius College.Nearly 3,692 voters cast their votes. At total of 36 men and 6 women candidates were in the fray for 11 general seats and two seats reserved for women.
