Karnataka has had too many a scandal now in 2012

Mangalore: the iron is still hot, but beating it into a shape it appears, needs extraordinary skill, not in the hands of BJP.

Both houses have been adjourned sine die, as there is thick smoke and discernible fire, in and around Vidhana Sabha and the Soudha, and the 3 condemned ministers have wisely chosen to stay away from their constituencies to avoid backlashes from minorities and voters in general.

The congress in Udupi and JD(s) in DK-districts have made a common demand on 3 ex-ministers, of resigning their MLA seat, when they (equally strongly) refuse to do so.

The Gowda cabinet has a large vacant size of 10 minister in it now, but Gowda is not ready to fill up the vacancies for some more time.

3 states have completed their polling in the north, the last one being 62% voting reported from Goa, but Uttar Pradesh and Manipur are still not over, while Uttarskhand and Punjab have polled over ever 70%.

Until the other two states finish polls, BJP top leadership will be on tenterhooks, and cabinet expansion here in Karnataka can wait.

It is no joke that they shook an Assembly and a whole sate, apart from a ruling party that was just recovering from a series of land exploitation cases in the name of illegal mining deals.
