Udupi : The results of the Udupi City Municipal Council too has proved to be a great setback for the BJP. Of the total 35 seats in Udupi CMC, the Congress has emerged victorious in 22 seats while the  BJP has bagged only 12 seats. Independents have won one seat in Udupi.
