Mangaluru: When BJP’s Jana Suraksha Yatra culminated in Mangaluru on Tuesday, former CM and party state president B S Yeddyurappa announced that the saffron party would withdraw all cases filed against its cadre within 24-hours of coming to power.
He said not only will the BJP ensure that all 6.5crore Kannadigas lead a respectable life, but will also take care of its cadre against whom the Congress government has unleashed its law enforcing machinery.
UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, who flew in late by three hours, accused the Siddaramaiah-led state government of its “active patronage for anti-social elements that are behind the murder of Hindu activists in the state”.
