Udupi : A missing person’s case has been registered in Udupi following the disappearance of a 20-year-old girl who was pursuing her second-year PUC studies. The student has been identified as Deepa Suresh Lamani, originally hailing from Basavana Bagewadi taluk in Vijayapura district. She was residing in a rented house at Anegudde, Katapadi, while attending a college in Udupi city.
According to the complaint, Deepa took a leave of absence from college on February 20 and left her residence. However, she failed to return home that day and has remained untraceable since. Concerned family members have approached the authorities, and the police have launched an extensive search operation to locate her.
Deepa is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a wheatish complexion and a medium build. She is fluent in Kannada, Lambani, and Hindi languages. The local authorities have requested the public to cooperate and provide any relevant information regarding her whereabouts. Anyone with leads is urged to contact the Kaup Police Station immediately.
