Udupi : As per the call of the Muslim Personal Law Board, Muslims in Udupi district formed human chains outside different mosques after Friday prayers, urging the Union government to withdraw the latest amendments made to the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025.
Protestors, holding placards seeking repeal of the Act, formed human chains near Jamiya Masjid and Anjuman Masjid. Similar demonstrations were held in Brahmagiri Nayar Kere, Kolambe, Nejar and Hoode.
