Udupi : A patient being transported to Manipal Hospital lost his life after the ambulance was in collided with a road divider on the Udupi–Manipal highway.
The accident occurred near MGM College, where the ambulance—en route from Koteshwara to Manipal—reportedly lost control at a road diversion and crashed into the barricades.
The patient was quickly transferred to another ambulance and taken to a private hospital in Manipal, where he was declared dead.
