Mangaluru: A prison staff was caught trying to supply ganja to an undertrial prisoner in the district jail

Prison staff Santosh has been arrested. He was reporting for duty on August 22 at 10:40 am when KSISF personnel conducted a routine check at the main gate and found that he had ganja hidden in his underwear.

When the package, which he had hidden in his underwear wrapped in khaki gum tape, was opened in the presence of Jail Superintendent Sharana Basappa and KAISF Assistant Commandant, it contained approximately 41 grams of ganja, approximately 11 grams of tobacco, 1 mobile charger cable, 1 OTG, a small metal object in the form of a tube, and rolling papers.
