Mangaluru : BJP state leaders are trying to create anarchy in Dakshina Kannada district, and the way BJP behaved in the officers’ meeting is proof of this, said Legislative Council member Manjunath Bhadary.
A delegation led by BJP state president B.Y. Vijayendra and opposition leader Ashok arrived in Dakshina Kannada district, held a meeting with police officers and district collectors, and behaved in a roundabout manner, according to media reports. BJP state leaders do not want peace to prevail in Dakshina Kannada district. BJP state leaders who have set out to secure their vote bank through the coast are making the coast a victim. Bhandari alleged that BJP members are trying to create unrest in the coastal region and gain power in the state.
Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Sudhir Kumar Reddy and District SP Dr. Arun are working in their own style towards law and order in the district. But BJP leaders do not want peace in this district. If the BJP leaders were truly concerned about the district, they should have supported the officers’ style of work. Manjunath Bhandary has harshly criticized them for indirectly threatening the officers instead.
While the police have worked in their own style to maintain law and order, the peace in the district has been disturbed by the organization’s activists. Anyone who threatens law and order deserves punishment under the law. Bhandary has scolded that there is no room in the law to label them as patriots or traitors.
The BJP has ruled the state for the past 5 years and the people of the state know how they have ruled. Now, the voters have given the BJP the verdict of being in the opposition position, so let them act responsibly accordingly. If the BJP leaders’ scheming continues, they will have to pay a higher value in the coming days. The people of Dakshina Kannada district are intelligent and humble. Bhandary said that none of your games will be played on the trump card of Hindutva anymore.
