Bantwal : Both sides of the 2.1 km-long Kalladka flyover have been opened for vehicular movement from Wednesday June 25.
The 64-km-long BC Road–Addahole highway development is being executed in two phases. The Periyashanthi–Addahole section, covering around 15 km, is already 95% complete, with a 400-meter stretch remaining due to a court stay order.
One side of the flyover was opened for traffic on June 2, but vehicles from both directions were using the same side, causing congestion.
However, caution is advised while using the flyover as work on dividers and retaining walls at the beginning and end of the flyover is still pending.
