Vittal : A burglary has been reported at the residence of Safiya Naufal, a practicing advocate, located near Okketturu Royal Villa in Vittal, Bantwal taluk. The incident occurred while the house was unoccupied, as the advocate and her family had reportedly traveled abroad approximately a month ago.
The crime came to light when local residents noticed that the front door of the house had been forced open. Upon inspection, it was discovered that miscreants had broken into the residence and thoroughly ransacked the cupboards and storage units. While it appears the intruders were searching for jewelry or cash, they reportedly found no such valuables on the premises.
Frustrated by the lack of gold or currency, the thieves allegedly made away with several important legal documents belonging to the advocate. The local community immediately alerted the family regarding the break-in. Vittal police are expected to conduct an investigation, and further details regarding the extent of the document theft are currently awaited.
