Mangaluru : A bus conductor collapsed and died while on duty in a college bus belonging to Nitte (deemed-to-be university) near Adyar on Wednesday morning.
The deceased, Santosh (40), was a resident of Kuthar. He had been working with the Nitte institution for many years. On Wednesday morning, he was on a trip to pick up school students when the incident took place.
He suddenly collapsed While helping students board the bus. He rushed to a hospital, but he passed away on the way. Preliminary reports suggest that the cause of death was a heart attack.
Santosh is survived by his wife and children.
